1 Vacuum your carpet also all surfaces where your pet lays, such as upholstered furniture. The vacuum will remove fleas, flea eggs also larvae from the carpet. Dispose of the vacuum bag on a garbage can with any lid.

2 Launder your pet's bed or blankets within hot drinking water with laundry detergent. If possible, waterless the bedding in the dryer to kill any lingering fleas or larvae.

3 A bucket of soapy water will kill fleas.

Mix 2 caps of pine cleaner in any bucket of warm water. Stir to create a soapy answer, then wet some clean cloth by means of the soap mixture. Scrub all hard surfaces such seeing that hardwood or tile floors, counter tops and cabinets to destroy the fleas.

4 Sprinkle diatomaceous world, a mineral dust applied to destroy insects, on your pet's clean bedding, the carpet plus upholstered furniture and function lower into the fibers in some scrub brush. This fine powder is safe for your pet and for humans but will cut into the flea's exoskeleton, causing it to dry from and die. Use diatomaceous globe outside by sprinkling it from areas everywhere you suspect your pet may well be picking up fleas.

5 Wash your pet with a flea shampoo. A flea shampoo will kill fleas living on your pet's epidermis, relieving your pet of the source of irritation. Rinse the shampoo out of your pet's fur thoroughly.

Tips & Cautions

Groom your pet repeatedly, especially during top flea season. Combing your pet's fur will support you to perceive fleas.
Continually follow directions and warnings while using compound-based flea removal products. Overuse of these products can lead to health problems in your pet.
